To nurture love for reading and strengthen parent-child bonds, Little Jewels, a Unit of The Jain International School organized a vibrant workshop on ‘Stories and Love for Books’ for all classes. The guest speaker of the workshop was, Mrs. Rashmi Sathe. The event aimed to introduce young learners and their parents to the joys of storytelling and interactive reading.
The workshop featured delightful activities designed to spark creativity and curiosity among children. Parents actively participated in the discussions, making it a shared learning experience.
The highlight of the event was the interactive reading corner in which parents and kids explored age-appropriate books together, fostering a habit of reading at home. It also included a few colouring and art activities for kids to encourage them to express their imagination.
This workshop was an opportunity to instil the joy of reading in children while involving parents in their learning journey. Parents were delighted with this initiative by the school, with many expressing their gratitude.
The workshop was graced by the Management Member, Mrs. Kamakshi Badjate. The Head Mistress, Mrs. Pooja Gandhi thanked the parents for being so interactive and receptive audience.
